We have started this page to honour the amazing person that was Mark Sesay. A great son, brother, friend and most of all father. He touched so many lives while he was here and we hope to continue his legacy by raising as much money as possible to touch further lives in his name.

I was watching the Worlds 800m with some friends recounting all the superb athletes I have met that no-one else knew where superstars. I met Mark when he was a medical rep about 18yrs ago, he introduced himself to the audience, and I shouted, "You mean THE Mark Sesay - the international athlete and ex-national champion". My colleagues thought I was mad, Mark blushed, but it made my day; and my Mum was jealous as hell when I told her. I googled what he was up-to and read the tragic news. For you loss I am so sorry. He was truly humble that day and we had a lovely little chat about athletics. Please accept this trivial donation as a thankyou for a wonderful ancedote and the pleasure of meeting a track superstar.

Thoughts

Mark just been looking at the picture of me you Angela and mum on mum's wall made me feel both sad and happy so many happy memories growing up wow I still can't believe you've left us but I can feel your presence often I only hope my children have has much fun growing up has we did I bet your upto mischief somewhere thinking of you always your friend always Paul Proctor

Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? Life means all that it ever meant; it is the same as it ever was. Thank you ever so much for setting up this Breath of Life Fund in loving memory of Mark Gavin Sesay. We hope that you find it a positive experience developing the site and that it becomes a place of comfort and inspiration for you to visit whenever you want or need to. It has been designed to be a truly lasting tribute for perpetuity for future generations to see.
